Logan Baldauf’s fine arts background was influential in the creation of his collection Kangaroo. Baldauf enjoyed diving deep into fashion and fine art references from history, taking predominant inspiration from Salvador Dali’s depictions of Gradiva along with the artist duo known as 23 envelope (photographer/filmmaker Nigel Grierson and graphic designer Vaughn Oliver). The majority of the collection’s materials and color palette were driven by his decision to work with organic dye materials. Baldauf plans to continue honing his tailoring and corestry skills, with the ambition of developing a brand and design studio.
